Beyond the Bell... Money Planning for Life
Education personnel have pensions that provide a basic income at retirement. But pension benefits at most provide 60-70% of active workplace compensation. Advance planning will enable educators to supplement their pensions to maintain or enhance their standard of living in retirement. Living comfortably is also desired during one’s career. Most financial events in life can be accommodated with proper planning. This presentation will address the broad general topic of financial planning, supplemental retirement and investment plans and how they can help education employees – from an educational – not a marketing – perspective.
The program is appropriate for new as well as established educators as everyone should start thinking about retirement as soon as they set foot in a school facility.
